Analysing the Impact of Large Data Imports in OpenStreetMap

OpenStreetMap (OSM) is a global mapping project which generates free geographical information through community of volunteers. OSM used in variety applications and for research purposes. However, it also possible to import external data sets OpenStreetMap. The opinions about these imports are divergent among researchers contributors, the subject constantly discussed. question whether importing data, especially large quantities, adding value or compromising progress needs be investigated more deeply. For this study, OSM’s historical were compute metrics developments contributors during Netherlands India.
